Event Overview

Below is the event overview for 2022.

Welcome to the 18th annual BEND BREWFEST, the largest event of its kind in Central Oregon.

WHAT'S NEXT?

  1. Login to your brewery profile, update your information and add your beer product(s) for the 2022 festival. 
  2. Upload your marketing logos and pay your participation fee by selecting the red "Fees & Logos" tab. The BBF participation fee is due by February 11, 2022. If sending a check, please mail it to:

EVENT PROCEDURES

BEER SELECTION / X-TAP: The BBF will purchase six 1/2 barrels (15.5 gal.) of your beer, for the beers pouring both days of the festival, plus one 1/6 barrel from those selected to participate in the X-Tap. When selecting beers for this event, please make certain you will have adequate inventory available.

If you choose to submit a craft beer for the X-Tap, we will purchase one 1/6 barrel (only) of your specialty beer flavor to be tapped sometime during the two-day event. Space in the X-Tap lineup is limited and reserved for low production/specialty beers. We will notify you by February 18 if your brewery has a spot in the X-Tap rotation. Your X-Tap submissions must be received by April 1, 2022. Please be sure to coordinate with your distributor if purchasing through them.

If you are self-distributed, please note it is your responsibility to deliver your kegs to the Bend Brewfest by appointment or on Wednesday, May 11 or Thursday, May 12 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.; and pick up the empty kegs at the end of the event, Sunday, May 15 by noon. Out of town self-distributed breweries can deliver on day one of the festival as long as the product is at temperature.

Pricing: Kegs must be priced competitively.

To participate in the X-Tap, you must offer low production, specialty beers, and will review each X-Tap price individually. Please contact Alice Johnson or Eric Leonardo at 541-312-8510 with any questions.

Selection: The Bend Brewfest attracts a beer savvy crowd. We recommend your selection be a flavor not readily available at grocery stores.

No primary beer changes are allowed after February 11, 2022. If you have not submitted your primary beer flavor to us by February 11, 2022, you will lose your spot in the festival.


BEND BREWFEST ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: 

•  ALL beer will be poured by Bend Brewfest staff and/or volunteers. 

•  BBF will provide tables, signage, CO2, ice, distributor coordination and extensive marketing for the event.

•  Self-distributed breweries must deliver and pick up their own product. BBF will provide CO2.

•  Bend Brewfest will provide all signage in the pouring area. Eric and Alice will follow up about additional display/exposure opportunities. No stickers of any kind are allowed.

APPLICATION DEADLINE / COST TO PARTICIPATE

Cost to Participate: $425 for festival inclusion, highlighting one beer (required) and optional X-Tap. The Bend Brewfest purchases all kegs (no keg donations). Includes six complete tasting packages.

Brewery Payment Receipt and Product Information Due: February 11, 2022 

Payments can be made online from the red "Fees & Logos" tab above or by check through the mail. Checks must be received by accounting on or before February 11, 2022
